Everything was great. Stayed during a soocer tournament and the hotel was kid friendly, had access to the beach, was clean, had a great beach view and the entire staff was professional and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and I would return without a doubt!!! more

My recent stay there was amazing! It started a little rough. Upon checking in the bellhop dropped my labtop, but the General Manager there Stacy Patrick could not do enough to make things right. Not only did there fix my labtop, they comped me an upgrade to an amazing room. They immediately called Stacy at home, and she was so... more

I was forced to stay here on a business trip. The place looks like it was built in the 50's or 60's and hasn't been updated since then. The rooms are old and dark. The heating / AC does not work well. The hallways are dingy. The workout room has ancient equipment that you use at your own risk of... more

We were having a weekend get-away/ "research, do we really want to move here," trip & decided to pick our 2nd hotel after we'd stayed the 1st night in-town. Bad idea, as there wasn't much left to be had. Unless you're looking for a place to party (yes, I am talking about a keg-party/ hanging out at the beach time)... more

Every year I spend the weekend at a local hotel with my children so my husband can have his friends over for a poker night. This hotel was perfect...it's on the bay, has an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi (which my kids loved), room service was friendly, good and the prices were great, parking is a breeze, and the rooms... more

Where to start...this was a nice property years ago...however they have not updated in years. the rooms were worn and tired, as was the carpet. The sofa looked too dirty to sit on and the balcony was all stained and there was two dirty plastic chairs on it stacked up. Our room was not cleaned either evening when we returned... more

We spent some of our last days of summer again this year at the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel with many of our family for my grandma's birthday celebration. We had a total of 6 suites and 16 guests to stay and then had 25 plus for dinner in their Tradewinds Restaurant on Sunday night. Everything was wonderful. My kids enjoyed... more

We stayed at the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center on August 11, 2007 where our children hosted a 50th Anniversary party for us. The staff was unbelieveable, the food fantastic and the banquet room had a beautifulview of the Chesapeake Bay. The ages of our guests ranged from 6 years old to 75 years old and everyone was... more

My daughter's Girl Scout troop wanted to have a fun-filled outing and work on a few badges in the Virginia Beach area. I called the General Manager and asked her for "special permission" to tour the hotel and talk to a few of the managers. She offered us a great rate on a quiet weekend for a suite! WOW -... more
