The hotel is located on a shady street across from the dome. There are boarded up buildings around and abandoned parking lots. Parking garage is missing security camera, and access to the elevators from the garage is unmonitored. Breakfast is actually good. We wandered into the Reception area on a typically rainy Seattle evening! Our booking got lost at another nearby hotel therefore we took our chance there was a family room available here at Best Western Tacoma Dome. The staff were welcoming and friendly. In all fairness, I just got home from a 4 night stay at the Tacoma Dome Best Western and for the most part it was as expected. We were in Tacoma to attend an event at the Conference Center, there is a free trolley (every 20 mins or so) a block from the hotel that took us right there! Great breakfast included (waffles, eggs, sausage etc) , staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and quiet. I definately plan to stay here next time I'm in town. more

This is RIGHT accross the street from the Tacoma Dome. The rooms are very nice. They are on a par with the Hiltons.
