We're just wrapping up an almost week-long stay here and have been extremely pleased with our choice. Our studio with garden view looks just like the pictures on the Outrigger site. Spacious. Not particularly modern or luxurious, but quite comfortable. Sufficient parking ... never had trouble getting a spot in the little lot near our room. The location is terrific.... more

We had a five night wonderful stay at the Maui Eldorado. The condo was large and very nicely appointed. The grounds were well maintained. The location was convenient yet away from the tourist hustle. At night, it was quiet and peaceful. I thought the condo was a good value. We paid approximately $100 per night less than if we were... more

We have stayed at the Maui El Dorado every year since 1989 - we spent 6 1/2 weeks there is 1998. Just got back in July from another trip there. It's NOT the Westin (Thankfully). So if you are expecting a resort with $20 glasses of wine - it's not your place. It's comfortable and quiet. Easy walk to the... more

This place is absolutely disgusting. We booked it for a week and ended up checking out the second day. The list of wrongs is a long one: the rooms had black mold growing in them (law suit waiting to happen), the units had terrible smells as well. The pool makes the YMCA look like the Four Seasons and not to... more

We stayed at the Maui Eldordao June 26th thru July 3rd, 2007. We rented unit K104 through VRBO. The floors in this unit were filthy, our feet turned black if we walked barefoot. One of the showers leaked and flooded the floor every time it was used. The mattresses are sagging, fixtures and furniture are not in very good shape.... more

We stayed at the El Dorado (http://www.vrbo.com/75882) from May 28 to June 2, 2007 on our honeymoon. We wanted to stay on the Ka'anapali Beach and wanted to save money as well. I do not regret our stay at the El Dorado; it is very close to all the resorts on the Ka'anapali Beach. We actually loved the beach the... more

After having read quite a few reviews about various hotels in Maui, we were skeptical about booking a condo. All of our fears were for naught. The El Dorado is an excellent resort. We walked into the studio condo (stayed in C101) and were wowed. The condo seemed newly renovated, very modern, and ultra-clean. The kitchen was better equipped than... more

Outrigger Maui Eldorado My wife and I have visited Maui numerous times but the Maui Eldorado was the first place we stayed at. If you are looking for value and are planning to be outdoors a lot, definitely consider staying at this condo. Pros: If you plan to travel with a family and want to save money by making sandwiches... more

Back for our annual trip to Maui at the Maui Eldorado. This isn't the only place I have ever stayed in Maui, but it is on one of the finest properties in Maui. Totally private, quiet, lush, in between the 4th and 5th fairway...soooo unbelievably gorgeous. 'The same people have worked there since my husband and I and our best... more

I lived in Maui in 2001-2002 and already knew that Ka'anapali was by far the best place to stay in Maui. We stayed at the Maui Eldorado from May 12-17 in Unit # K-107. Here are my thoughts... It is near the office and parking lot, very convienant to park and go right to the Unit. Also if you want... more
