The Lahaina Inn was a pleasant surprise as we were expecting the worst based upon reviews here, those people should have stayed at one of the characterless mega resorts elsewhere. Stepping into the lobby was like stepping back in time, rustic and charming. The staff was always happy to offer info and very easy going. The rooms are small but... more

We really enjoyed the Lahaina Inn. It is an old hotel with cool antiques everywhere if you like that sort of thing (see picture). Price was low for the area. It's right off Front Street in the heart of all the action, but the rooms are nice and quiet, except as noted below. We had two problems, which is why... more

Lahaina Inn is absolutely beautiful. Very quiet and very romantic. First trip to Maui with my fiance and we could not have picked a better place to stay. We booked the Makai suit which is bigger than the others and had a day bed in it. If you have a love for antiques then you will fall in love with... more

First off, this is not the Four Seasons and you are not paying for the 4 Seasons. The affordable hotel is perfect for those on a budget and do not require high maintenance. You will not be able to call the front desk after 7pm, but again, this is not a chain hotel. My wife and I bought a fifth... more

My girlfriend and I just got back from staying in here and let me tell you the location is great! Half a block from Front street, which means easy access to the all the bars which is great late at night, no getting into your car after a few. However that is just about it. When we checked in we... more

I stayed in room #6 which was small and the ac did not work too well. The room had been redone, and the bathroom was nice. woke up and walked to the Molokai ferry at 7:15. Good location for seeing Lahaina, but the room is very small. more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this inn in March and were very disappointed by it. The room was tiny, the bathroom was very ugly and run-down and we barely slept at all from all the noise from the street. Charging people an outrageous amount of money to stay in a shoe-box that you've marketed as a quaint return to... more

A good place to stay for your N and West side activities. The only place that was less than $150 and no minimum night stays. Yes the room was small, the the common fridge was the smallest dorm fridge you could find, but it was right in the middle of town. Stayed 2 nights to drive North and take a... more

I booked a reservation with the Lahaina in for February of 2008 April 27th of this year. Subsequently, my husband and I have had an economic hardship and had to cancel six weeks after we booked. The Inn feels it is necessary to charge an outrageous cancellation fee of $150 even thought they have ample time to rebook the property.... more

My boyfriend and I did a crazy amount of research before we went to Maui. This was the most expensive place we stayed. That being said, we were kind of disappointed. The Inn is lovely, like an old hotel in New Orleans, but our room was like a shoe box. No place for our bags, and the air conditioner was... more
