This is a time share formerly managed as Embassy Resorts; however, there was no hot breakfast each day. The 2BR-2BA condo #839 with sofabed was very spacious; a wraparound balcony provided stunning views of the beach and pool below. The kitchen included a microwave, full refrigerator , coffee maker and dishwasher. Other appliances included by request were electric skillet, toaster,... more

What a lovely resort! THis was our first trip to Hawaii EVER, and the open air lobby was beautiful. The pink is something else, lemme tell you. The front desk staff was very helpful (especially Cindy.) We were booked for a one BR w/ two double beds and the pullout in the lving room. Traveling w/ two teen boys I... more

we had the pleasure of staying at this resort for a perfect week."I am Disabled and this resort was perfect for me to get around on a scooter. The room was large and great for a right hand only person. We rented a Beach wheel chair for spending time on the sand watching the ocean, plus lots of Whale activity. We will definitely... more

My family (my wife and kids ages 7, 9 and 11) made our first trip to Hawaii in February 2008. Our trip to Maui was fabulous, and the Ka'anapali Beach Club was the main reason why. While I have read some reviews that tell of unfriendly staff and/or substandard rooms.......we experienced neither (and we are not timeshare owners). The staff... more

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a great time. Our room was renovated and very spacious. Me and my husband were traveling with 2 kids (12 and 15). Our room had 2 full beds in the bedroom and the kids alternated nights on the couch (sleeper sofa was uncomfortable, so they opted to sleep on the couch instead).... more

This is a huge and beautiful resort. Unfortunately, when you have multiple elevators down at a huge and beautiful resort, you have a huge problem! I literally waited 20 minutes for an elevator to arrive once. It was not practical to take the stairs with luggage, etc.. There was also a long walk to the few working elevators in the... more

We stayed in a one bedroom oceanfront on the eight floor. We rented from the owner directly the week of January 4-11 2008. We decided to stay here because we had previously toured the hotel and we were shown a one bedroom apartment which we liked. The apartment we were shown was newly renovated, but the one we were given... more

Having stayed at the former Embassy/Sunterra version in Poipu, we were expecting comparable things from the Maui property. We were quite disappointed; our kids, ages 13, 15, and 17, said that they wouldn't go back. Our room, 603, was terrible - no tub, cheap shower curtain, broken telephone-style nozzle with clogged holes, minimal water pressure. Access to the bathroom was... more

Our family of 3 stayed here as part of their mini-vacation promotion that they use to get you to attend a timeshare presentation. We ended up buying but we had been considering a timeshare before we stayed here anyways. The presentation was not at all pressuring. That aside, we absolutely loved our stay here. I've read other reviews that complained... more

The Beach Club rooms and facilities are nice. However- When booking a Ocean View room, keep in mind that the Beach Club's defination of Ocean View room is any room that you can see the ocean from the lanai. That includes a view of the ocean over the top of the roof of the condos next door! I booked 2... more
