Our family stayed here in early April. We loved the view - you could spit in the ocean, you are so close. That was about all to love though. The building itself is run down and borders a seedy neighborhood directly to the north of the complex. We had to listen to residents riding their motorcycles (LOUD dirt bikes) up... more

Our condo had a full size kitchen, living area, bathroom, and bedroom with king bed and fully equipped with everything we would need on the trip. A short walk to a corner store for groceries and we had breakfast on our lanai overlooking the humpback whales go by. It was amazing to see so many whales jumping all day from... more

We stayed in Condo 117. While we were wary of staying on the ground floor due to the reviews that mentioned theft, we found it to be very pleasant and uneventful. Just keep your screen doors locked at all times and you don't have to worry. We combed the reviews for "good" unit numbers and called ahead, which I think... more

I will have to admit that when I found out we would be staying in room 220, having read a previous review stating that 220 was "Run down, and in need of an update", I expected the worst. When we arrived at the Kahana Reef, I left the luggage in the car and went right up to the room. I... more

My sister and I just returned from a relaxing week at the Kahana Reef. We stayed in Unit 107, a beautifully renovated ground floor unit with a new kitchen, granite countertops, beautiful artwork and furnishings. Absolutely perfect!. Enjoyed dinners on the Lanai beside the pool and BBQ area. Met some very welcoming owners who gave us great advice on what... more

You can't get a better view of the ocean and can fall asleep to waves your so close. If your looking for simplicity, peace, and quiet this is your place. A 5 minute drive south to the beaches (north of the black rock), can bring you some amazing snorkeling. Also Kahana is between Kaanapali and Napili, offering various dining options... more

This was our 5th stay at Kahana Reef. Each condo is indiviually owned and we haven't had a bad one yet. Although, some are better than others. The ocean water is so close you can throw a rock into it from the lanai. Most units don't have air conditioning, but we didn't need it. There is a nice coin-op laundry... more

I also stayed in unit 317 and it was exactly as advertised on the owner's website, [---]. A piece of paradise indeed, with gorgeous sunsets on the lanai, cross breezes through the unit all day long, away from the craziness of some of the other neighboring condos and hotels, this is definitely more of a residential and relaxing sort of... more

Returned yesterday from a week's stay at Kahana Reef unit 317. We found this unit through the owner's at vrbo.com. It was exactly as promised. A spacious 1-bedroom unit ony 20 something feet from the ocean. This corner unit was great and a very good value. The unit itself is in excellent shape with many upgrades (granite counters, rock shower,... more
