We had a wonderful 12 day stay at the Papakea. The condo was comfortable and clean. We had an awesome ocean view. We have recommended the Papakea to several friends and we look forward to another trip to Maui and another stay at the Papakea. more

The room we stayed in was only feet from the crashing waves, with only grass between our door and the water. The room itself was fine. That view is terrific. The unit itself overall is not worth the money. The chairs in the living room are not good for the back if you sit in them very long. The one foot stool is torn and dirty. The pull-out bed is too thin and coily - our son couldn't sleep on it - he choose the couch... more

Our stay at the Papakea was very nice. I would rate the surrounding property as excellent. It is spacious, neat and peaceful. Stayed there for 6 nights and had the best time! Our room had direct access to the garden, the pool and the beach. The rooms were very clean, the hotel was calm, and they solved a little problem we had with our room almost instantly, and even gave us a box of macadamia nuts for the inconvenience! more
