A friend of mine and I had been planning this trip for a few months as we had tickets to see Stevie Nicks in concert at the Bank of America Pavillion. We had printed MapQuest directions but still could not find the hotel. We called the Double Tree and Jessica gave great directions. It only took us 10 minutes to... more

I had no complaints about this hotel. They have a free shuttle to the other Doubletree which is in Chinatown and to the airport. Boston is easy to get around with the METRO so no need to rent a car. Room was comfy & clean. Au bon Pain is in the lobby. It is ok for a snack. I would... more

My company placed me in this hotel since most other hotels were booked graduation weekend... so I was thankful i got a room. HOWEVER, there were several issues with this hotel. First- the condition of the interior of the rooms was bad. Furniture was busted, the chair next to my bed had all sorts of stains on it (so gross),... more

Some observations from an unremarkable stay: Positives: 1. Close to bay sidewalk - fantastic for running on. 2. Close to the JFK train station, but I'm not sure I'd walk through the neighborhood at night. 3. Au Bon Pain – Open late, consistent food and nice folks behind the counter (one poor fellow couldn't speak English, but was otherwise helpful)... more

My husband, 9 year old daughter and I stayed here in July 07. It was our first trip to Boston and we loved it. There was no need for a car the entire trip. The hotel picked us up from the airport and took us back. It also had a shuttle that took you straight into downtown Boston which was... more

I pretty much always stay at Hilton properties since I'm in their HHonors program--the only problem can be that they can be hugely expensive in downtown areas. I had originally booked a room at another hotel in the suburbs, but I was browsing around and saw the Doubletree Club. Wow, only a few miles from Logan, near the T ...... more

Our extended family group (4 adults, 2 college students, and 2 high school students) stayed here for two nights in late March, occupying three rooms and using the hotel as our base for sightseeing in the Boston metro area. The hotel itself is moderately priced and much as we'd expected: reasonably comfortable and clean, but showing its age and offering... more

I stay quite frequently at Hilton properties but this was the very first time that I stayed at a Doubletree. While the hotel was OK, it suffered tremendously from the lack of food options. Room service is not available and guests are limited to the Au Bon Pain in the lobby of the hotel. I was traveling to Boston on... more

We absolutely loved our stay at the Doubletree Bayside. The woman who checked us in at the front desk was exceptional. We were arriving way before check-in time and were going to ask if they could hold our bags til later in the afternoon when our room was ready, but she said they had a room open for us right... more
