Collective bathrooms are quite nasty. Staff is not that friendly (except Mikki) , and I even been charged 50$ for my nite in tijuana ! Rubbish . As everyone else has said, the hostel is in the BEST location for downtown San Diego! Right on the strip with all the bars, clubs and shops! Such a great time staying here, so much banter!! The staff are great fun, rooms are lovely (if u get one over looking the roads outside its such a bonus!!) After draging your bag up 2 flights of stairs prepare for more diaspointment. The rooms are small dirty and very smelly.I have stayed in many hostels and this would be towards the lower end.
