I stayed here for 5 days, for a conference, but also made some vacation time out of it. Overall the experience was very pleasant. I’ll get the negative parts over with first, but there weren’t that many to be honest. The first difficulty I experienced was not the fault of the hotel exactly. I requested a refrigerator when I made... more

Arrived on a late Sunday night and was greeted by nice and professionsl staff. Public areas are great with a big open air pool, selected couches and outdoor furniture scattered throughout the property overlooking fountains. Very "chill" atmophere with music playing in public spaces. Very elegant lobby with reasonably priced gift shop. Parking is $13/day self park, or you can... more

The hotel was really nice but trying to get to it was tricky. The directions we had and the location of the hotel was tricky. It took us about 30 mins or more driving around the area to finally find it. And we found it on mistake. After driving around and around we stopped for food right near it and... more

Not the newest hotel, but we liked it better every day. Very good near gourmet in-hotel restaurant, and helpful, competent hotel staff. Exhibited at a small trade show in hotel, and didn't have any problems with materials being at right place at the right time. Staff was helpful, including lifting one or two heavy things into place. Location is good... more

It's not like the hotel room is a deal in the first place at a price over $200, but you can look forward to paying for self parking for $13 a day in a small lot that is difficult to fit anything but a compact car. If you would like to use the internet in your room you will be... more

Stayed here May 25 and 26, 2007. My stay was pleasant and the hotel comfortable. It was an easy drive to the airport. Would recommend. more

I have stayed at this hotel twice, for a week each time. The staff is pretty helpful on all sides, but aside from a few, nobody stands out as memorable. Rooms are comfortable with good size, beds are VERY comfortable, bathrooms are big and clean. I love, love, love the balconies - they offer nice views, and are very relaxing... more

Definitely not in the heart of San Diego. Like most of California's car culture, it helps to have one here. Cabs were not plentiful making getting around difficult. The trolley was just a short walk away. The ATM was broken the first day I was there, so I didn't have the cash to use the trolley (which was getting set... more

Room 202 there were intermitent, irregular spells of a rumbling with a screeching noise that sounded like someone drilling into masonry on the other side of the bathroom wall. The room is next to the elevator shaft and it seemed to happen every time the right-hand east elevator moved. Maybe there is a bearing that is worn or some other... more

We stayed at the Marriott in Mission Valley last weekend. The hotel is beautiful, and the service was great. The room was clean and the bed was amazing. One of the best Hotel beds, I have ever slept in. The pool looked fabulous, I only wished I had a couple of more days to enjoy it. more
