With very little natural light the rooms become very repressive and minimal extra lighting is making me feel quite miserable. This hotel would be OK for tourists who are out & about all day but for the business traveller I would swerve at all costs. Staff are good & location excellent. more
When we arrived, we were very pleased with the location of the hotel - just around the corner from Grand Central Station and within walking distance of loads of tourist attractions. Great location. Friendly staff. Expensive restaurant. Rooms small and dark. Would not go back. Better hotels for same money. more
Dylan Hotel, located in midtown Manhattan in NYC, offered a great location for business, restaurants and sights to see. The staff was very attentive and helpful during my stay. To improve the customer's experience the Dylan should freshen up the decor and invest in better lighting. more

I found the Dylan to be very comfortable... Great value. Friendly staff. As a single woman, I felt very safe and comfortable. Great amenities... including bathrobe & slippers.... more
I stayed here mid January for three nights and was actually quite pleasantly surprised. Because I stay in NYC hotels at least 2-3 times a year, I pretty much know what to expect for the $300-$400 a night price range - small clean room, tiny bathroom, little to no view. I think once one's expectations are thus lowered, one can... more
