I travel frequently for work and am in NYC at least once a month. I recently stayed at Hotel Chandler because my client had special rates there. The staff was very nice --I'll give them points for customer service. The MAJOR dilemma with this hotel was the bathroom. I kid you not, when I say that I could not get... more

We stayed at the Hotel Chandler this past weekend, July 12th & 13th 2008. From the time we arrived everything was better than expected. We received a very warm welcome from the front desk and even received an upgrade to a Deluxe Queen. The room furnishings were very nice and the bedding extra comfortable. The bathroom was surprisingly large and... more

I've just returned back to the UK from NYC I stayed at Hotel Chandler in April 2007 and returned this week as a birthday present for my partner. He was equally impressed with the hotel. The hotel and service is fantastic, such a nice hotel to stay at, the hotel is quiet, which is just what you need when you... more

Very nice hotel in the very centre of Manhattan. The rooms are cozy and clean and the staff was really nice and very very helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel but enjoyed the other facilities such as the library (with internet access), the fitness room and the free coffee not the least. This is definately a place I would... more

Stayed at the Chandler Hotel for one night (July 4th). Very convenient if arriving by train - less than two blocks from Penn. Arrived before check-in, so went to get a cup of coffee. Upon returning, it was still before check-in (perhaps 2:30) but was told my room was already available, and had been upgraded to king at no charge.... more

We stayed in this hotel overnight when spending a couple of days in New York. It is situated moments from the Empire State Building and is very convenient for sightseeing in the city. First impressions were positive, the staff at reception checked us in early and took our bag for storage. We were then invited to have a complimentary tea... more

I stayed at the Hotel Chandler on a birthday trip with my husband in April. We found the location of the hotel very convenient - it's just off 5th Avenue, which makes it easy to find, and is within walking distance of many attractions. The street itself is a bit dingy, and there is a gap site opposite the hotel,... more

I stayed at this lovely hotel in late November 2007 with my Mum for five days of Christmas Shopping and sightseeing. The Location It was a fabulous location just off 5th Avenue and a very short stroll from the Empire State Building and I would say it was walking distance from a number of the sights such as the Flatiron... more
