The Lucerene is filled with very pleasant and helpful staff, is very clean and quite roomy for a New York Hotel. We did splurge (although, the "splurge" was about $200.00 less than most of the chain hotels during the holidays in NY) for a King bedroom, but it was well worth it. This place just gets better and better. Excellent, friendly and professional staff. Refurbed rooms are brighter and nicer than two years ago. Location a block from the #1 subway and right off Amsterdam with a ton of restaurants. Two blocks to Central Park. We've already booked our stay for next December. more
