What a wonderful way to spend a long weekend! It can be difficult to plan a girls' weekend because most B&B's cater to couples. The Dresser Palmer House is definitely a romantic inn, but it's also wonderful for a quiet, non-romantic weekend among friends. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and big fluffy towels. The staff is WONDERFUL!... more

What a great B & B, it is a beautiful Inn and very friendly. The breakfast was great, we had such a nice time visiting with the others staying at the Inn. They had ample parking, a really nice social hour and a perfect spot if you are looking for two beds in one room. A nice value for Savannah.... more

We stayed for 3 days/2 nights last week. Everything was exceptional starting with the reservation over the phone. We were welcomed warmly and given great info and walking map of Savannah. The location is on the south side of the historic district, one block from Forsyth Park. We walked everywhere, never needed our car, so we left it in the... more

My wife and I spent a few days leisurely wandering the streets of Savannah and enjoyed the quiet, calming environment of the bed and breakfast. We couldn't have asked for anything better than to wake up to a wonderful breakfast, obtain good tips for sight seeing, and the attentive nature of the staff. Don't forget to have a slice of... more

We arrived late evening and Don was there waiting for us. We stayed 4 nights, after a previous 4 nights in Vegas for a wedding. What a difference - so peaceful and friendly, and very convenient! We met other people from all over the world, and so good to chat to them over cheese and wine before going out for... more

I stayed at the Dresser-Palmer House with my sisters for 3 nights in mid February and it was an incredibly warm, beautiful, welcoming and comfortable experience. It was my first time staying at a B&B and I was eager to try all there was to offer. Ron, David, the concierge staff and everyone who worked there was genuinely friendly and... more

We stayed at the Dresser Palmer House for a week for our honeymoon and had an amazing time! We stayed in the Wisteria room (a basement room) and absolutely loved it! It was very dark and quite in our room. We had a beautiful fireplace and LARGE shower and a separate jetted tub! It was very private and comfortable. The... more

My wife and I spent three days at the DPH (our first trip to a B&B). We selected the Johnny Mercer room, as we had read reviews to avoid the basement-level rooms. We were very pleased with the size and comfort level of the room. The weather was damp and chilly, so the in-room fireplace came in quite handy. The... more

had a good time, food (breakfast) was very good, staff very pleasant and competent; only drawback: unable to increase heat in the room (thermostat was locked at 72 degrees; i prefer 76 degrees: i'm an old guy who spent too much time in SouthEast Asia ) I would recommend this establishment without any reservations. more

Besides the inn being beautiful, David, Ron & the 24/7 concierge staff was incredible. Breakfast was delicious & the wine & cheese at the end of the day was the perfect finishing touch after a long day of admiring gorgeous Savannah. We were close to most everything. more
