Stayed at Country Inn and Suites in October 2007. Nice rooms, clean, staff is friendly, nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. Only complaint we had was we were told the historic district of Savannah, River Street, was 5 minutes away. Its not. More like 15 minutes. But if don't mind the longer drive, I would suggest staying here overall. more

The bed had sheets that would not stay on, there was no mattress pad on the bed so when the sheet moved, you were laying directly on some mattress not even covered. No linens on the pull out. Had to hold handle up to flush toilet. Bedspread looked old and worn. Employee was eating at the breakfast area and left... more

Don't stay here. When we checked in, we were told there was a $2.50 "environmental surcharge" that I hadn't been told about when I made the reservation. This was not part of the rate, but definitely intended to rip-off the "guest" for a little extra which adds up for the owner of the franchise and makes the rate look slightly... more

Very disappointing. Dirty, breakfast was never stocked and the trash ran over. Pool towels never stocked. Room not cleaned well. Staff seemed lazy. more

The hotels nice on the outside but the rooms are dirty. The bathroom had hairs on the floor and mold in the shower. There was a spot on the sheet that looked like old blood. During our visit to Savannah it was too cold to swim outside so we searched for a moderatly priced motel equiped with an indoor pool.
