I brought two separate groups to the Mansion on Forsyth for work-related meetings mid-May 2008 & mid-June 2008. The group consisted mainly of first-time visitors to Savannah. The groups enjoyed Savannah quite a bit. My personal opinion is that I would return in the spring or fall due to the high temps (mid 90s) we had both months. I was... more

Do not miss this experience. The kitchen is to die for, the chef knowledgeable and organized, and the food incredible. You learn way more than you expect, and it's a great place to bring a non-cook. We went to markets to pick our food; it completely got us out of being so bound to recipes. Oh, and the chef sends... more

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the beautful Mansion on Forsyth Park. The staff was wonderful, the food quite good. Our room was in one of the turrets so there was plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Our only disappointment came as we checked out and saw all of the additional fees attached to our bill:... more

We stay in Kessler hotels often so had to try this one. The location is ok, very near the park so that was nice but the surrounding neighborhoods could be sketchy to some people- but I wouldnt let that stop you from staying here! I LOVED the decor, the room was the BEST! I loved the giant tub. We had... more

This is hands down the most luxurious place to stay in the historic district. We stayed at the Hilton Desoto for the first night of our trip and were terribly disappointed (rooms were old, smelly, and the walls were paper thin). The service at the Mansion was extremely personal. The front desk, concierge, and transportation people were always asking if... more

Although we only stayed one night, Mansion on Forsyth was a great way to spend my birthday. We had just stayed 6 nights in the Smoky Mountains and were looking for something to top off our trip. I couldn't have asked for a better venue! The photos do this place no justice-in fact I thought the place might be a... more

I stayed at the mansion with 3 other adults, and we all shared a room. We booked and paid for our room 3 months in advance and specifically requested and reserved a room with 2 queen beds. Upon arrival, they told us that there were no more rooms with 2 beds available, "because sometimes they just run out of those",... more

First time visit to The Mansion on Forsyth Park... in fact, first time even knowing it existed despite many visits to Savannah. My wife and I visited as part of a business conference. From parking the car, to check-in, to the conference facilities, to the food, to the Poisiden Spa, to the pool, to the special details and arrangements for... more

My husband and I stayed at the Manion for four nights, over the first weekend in May. We actually got married in the park across the street (that deserves a whole other perfect review of it's own!), and part of our wedding package included the stay at the Mansion, which is what helped attract me to the wedding package in... more

I have to say that this was one of the best hotels i have ever been to. The service, the rooms, the hotel and specially the restaurant next door was amazing.....The staff was so friendly and so accommodating......I asked the front desk for some women personal stuff and they didn't blink, with a friendly smile and quick response the lady... more
