This was a great place to stay. We had the top floor - two bedrooms (sleeps 5), bathroom & kitchen for $250 per night at Christmas - so we had loads of space and were able to make tea & coffee when we wanted. We could have made breakfast (note - despite being a B&B there is no breakfast provided),... more

I find it hard to believe anyone could write positive reviews about this place: 1. The owner was far from friendly. 2. Bring your own shampoo - there was none. 3. Bring your own soap - it was either cheap and nasty or watered down. 4. Bring your own toilet paper - you won't want to use theirs. 5. Bring... more

As others have said (wish we read the reviews before we went) this is not a bed and breakfast, only a bed. We found this out only after arriving. We could not believe how cheap the owners were. The towels were the poorest quality, stained and worn thin. The soap was also poor quality. There was no shampoo. The liquid... more

Not a bad place at all. The room we booked had a comfortable full bed, plenty of towels, free coffee. I wasn't thrilled that it was on the third floor, but the room was clean and quiet. Also, i think the value for New York City is pretty good. The owner explained that they no longer serve breakfast, but he... more

This is NOT a B&B! It's a B--bed only! It's conveniently located for a stay in Brooklyn and the price is good. But there is no breakfast involved. The owners were rather strange and the towels smelled SO mildewy that if i ever stay there again, I'd bring my own towel! Also, the next morning we were going to go... more

We stayed here because of a wedding and because it was near our family. It isn't a bed and breakfast exactly. You are more of less renting a room in a brownstone That said. It was fine, clean, comfortable and safe. It was not luxurious but at what they charge, what do you expect? My only beef was that there... more

I have stayed twice at B & B Marisa and loved it both times. The location is fantastic, a beautiful part of Brooklyn and easy access to Manhattan. In fact, the second time I stayed, I got to know Brooklyn a bit, going on a wonderful walk suggested by proprietor Billy. My teenagers were with me that second time, and... more

Well, I can say I don't understand the positive reviews at all. When we arrived at this house, we knew we had made a mistake. The house was nothing like the many "charming" B/B's we have stayed at in the past. This was a dingy, dark, neglected Brooklyn Brownstone. The room we stayed in was a queen bed on the... more

We spent nine days in this queer place, and it was not easy. To call it a bed and breakfast is stretching it considerably. Before my criticism of this joint, I want to be fair to at least say that the facilities(kitchen, bedroom, living room) were in good, decent condition. The building is a classic 3 level Brooklyn brownstone, we... more

Contrary to some of the reviews on this site, we found Bed and Breakfast Marisa to be a warm and cozy place to stay in Brooklyn while visiting out daughter in a nearby location. This is not a luxury hotel. If we had come with that expectation, it would be unfair. Our hosts were kind and helpful. It is true... more
