We enjoyed a brief stay at Sully Mansion while visiting family in New Orleans for a wedding. It was close to Uptown and to the church in the Irish Channel which was a huge plus. We are used to staying in older homes in NO and enjoyed the atmosphere. I would love to give this an Excellent rating, however -... more
Our weekend in new Orleans was picture perfect due to our very comfortable stay at the Sully Mansion. The mansion truly has kept its period charm yet offers the modern conveniences we expected. The accommodations were beautiful and the hospitality was top notch. Breakfasts were our favorite meal of the day! Very reasonably priced as well. more
We stayed here in April '08 on a house-hunting trip to New Orleans. We chose this property because the location was ideal for accessing all parts of New Orleans (and very safe -- we parked our car on the street with no problems) and because the rates were very reasonable for the city (breakfast included, free street parking, free wireless,... more
This is a wonderful B+B in the Garden district about half way between Audubon Park and the French Quarter, one block off of St. Charles St. The streetcar stop is 2 blocks away and conveniently can get you to the French Quarter and back for $2.50 roundtrip! Nancy and Guy were wonderful hosts and have done an amazing job with... more
Hospitality at its best in a charming 19th century mansion turned B&B. Great location in the Garden District very near the St. Charles streetcar means no car rental. Nancy loves to make delicious and healthy breakfasts and we enjoyed it on the lovely wraparound front porch, stopping every once in a while to scratch the head of Gracie, one wonderful... more
Proprietors Guy and Nancy Fournier are the perfect hosts, and their historic Garden District mansion is ideally situated for whatever brings you to New Orleans. It's great for the usual tourist stuff, located in the Garden District and right off the streetcar line and parade route, and easy to get to the French Quarter to enjoy its good aspects, without... more
I travel to New Orleans about five times a year and whenever possible I stay at the Sully Mansion. The proprietors have just the right touch of making sure we are well cared for but also give their guests enough space so that they feel comfortable and at home. The breakfasts are made on site and something I always look... more
The Sully Mansion exceeded our expectations in every way. Everything was approached with the elegance you hope for in the Garden District. Our room was large with very high ceilings. It was beautifully decorated and yet very comfortable. The king size bed was excellent. Nancy and Guy made our trip very special. They helped with all our arrangements for Jazz... more
