We had the recent pleasure of spending 4 nights at the LaNaux Mansion in New Orleans; a great place, wonderful people, and conveniently located directly adjacent to the French Quarter. The Lanaux Mansion may have made it into the Forbes Best B&B list but I'm afraid to say that the Lanaux House is riding on those old laurels and nothing more. We stayed over Christmas - I did expect a wee bit of seasonal cheer - but not a fairy light or bauble to be found - stuffed up the... more

We are very sorry that this guest’s stay did not meet expectations. Upon receipt of this information, we checked the beds and asked guests for feedback, but could not find any squeaking--the beds are in excellent condition.
