The Maison St. Charles is a delightful, affordable hotel in the Garden District in New Orleans. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable with free wireless internet. I loved the pool and spa, and the continental breakfast was substantial with surprisingly healthy options (New Orleans is not known for its health food). The hotel service was great, I was always... more

Great price, clean room, visible security, great location, quiet, friendly & helpful staff. I liked coming home at night and stopping in the lobby for a cup of tea! Just can't beat the streetcar & bus stops across the street. So easy to hop on the streetcar & get dropped of right at Canal & Bourbon! Get the visitor's pass... more

Stayed here 3/15 for one night prior to departing on a cruise. I had a really hard time finding hotels under $200 since it was Spring Break. I luckily found this one, and paid $112 with tax, plus $14/night for parking. The hotel is on St. Charles, the trolley stops right in front of hotel. Emeril's Delmonico steak house is... more

This is a quaint old place. The websites (including Trip Advisor) make it difficult to fully get the "vibe" of it. First, we had no problems with the staff. Everyone was polite and accommodating. I called the front desk for extra pillows and they were delivered in less than 5 minutes. The hotel is made of of several different buildings.... more

Our first time in the Big Easy & we couldn't have picked a better hotel for authenicity. Talking to one of the staff it transpires that some of the accommodation was part of the old slave quarters. Picturesque courtyards & a spacious room which was peaceful & quiet. The staff were friendly & helpful, but the biggest plus was the... more

This was a good place to stay for my husband and I while attending a convention at the Morial Convention Center and spending some time sightseeting. It was about a 15 minute walk to the convention center, which wasn't bad at all. Along the way, you can walk passed the Civil War Museum (unfortunately for us, it is temporarily closed)... more

We stayed here this past weekend and while our room (141) was tiny it was a nice stay. This hotel is a nice spot, neat courtyards, extremely pleasant staff and is right on the st. charles street car line. It is only about a 15 minute walk to the quarter. We stayed with some friends and when they first checked... more

A nice and interesting place to stay, now that the St. Charles Streetcar is running (it stops right in front). Composed of several older and newer buildings around courtyards. Great access to Vieux Carre and to the Garden District. Croissants are on (the included) continental breakfast buffet. Parking is reasonable, but try the street first; you may avoid the nightly... more

Stayed there for the Sugar Bowl. Very close to the Superdome, about a 10 minute walk. Took the streetcar which stops right in front of the hotel to Canal Street to go to the French Quarters. If you want to be close to the French Quarters and to where all the action is, then you should stay on Canal Street.... more

Please tell your staff that they should be commended. With everything you all went through, I’m still amazed at how well you’ve done. Your employees are fantastic. I’ve had my group at many hotels over the years and they have NEVER raved about the staff at any hotel (high end or low end). Tell them thanks for me! On another... more
