I am staying here to attend a conference held at this hotel, so the accommodations are paid for - $169/night. Let me begin by saying I would not stay here if given the choice. Upon check-in at 9pm Monday night, I asked for a renovated room (due to prior reviews and this fact being published on their website that there... more

I had booked a nice room for our stay because it was a romantic getaway. I always travel with my dog. On the website it said that pets were allowed for a small fee. When I arrived, I informed the desk clerk to charge me for the pet fee, I did not want to be dishonest. She told me she... more

Got great price from priceline. Awesome mississippi view. Room was small. But couldn't ask for more with priceline. On the downside gym use was charged, it's a large hotel more aligned for business visitors. Not a bad location especially with streetcar station right next to it. Do walk over next door to IMAX theater and watch 'Hurricane on the Bayou'. more

I almost did not stay here because of some of the review on this hotel, but I am glad I did. Hubby was there for business, so our 4 year old daughter & I tagged along. I had never been to New Orleans, so I had no idea where to stay. I knew w/ child that I needed somewhere safe.... more

My stay at Hilton Riverside Hotel was suprisely great. The reviews of the hotel were mixed and was not looking forward to the hotel. However, my trip was for business and I had no choice but to stay at the hotel (Supervisor booked hotel) Based on the review, I asked for a remodeled room and I must say the room... more

A group of friends stayed at the Hilton New Orleans in April and I have to commend the front desk staff for consistently going out of their way to assist in various requests. They were friendly and flexible (found a way to get us a king room when we were originally booked in a double). One member of our party... more

I recently attended a conference at this hotel. Nice thing was the hotel had set up a private web page for our conference, so we didn't have to call the hotel directly to book the rooms. From what I've been told they can do this for any group or convention for free. My room was very modern and clean. It... more

Getting a decent room is a crapshoot. Some of the rooms are standard convention center hotel quality, some are below $40 motel 6 standards. You have to make sure to request one of the remodeled rooms when you make your reservation. Our first night was spent in one of the older rooms. It was way beyond disgusting. Broken curtains, stained... more

The Hilton Rvierside is a bit dated but still has all the comforts and amenities of a top business hotel. HIlton Honors (Silver and above) have free access to an excellent full service gym onsite including indoor tennis and volleyball. The location is wonderful, with easy walking distance to the French Quarter, The Arts (Warehouse) District, and the Convention Center.... more
