I was looking for an in expensive hotel for one night before taking a cruise. This hotel was within walking distance to Canal St and the French Quarter. We were able to see a parade. The property is as stated "downtown" so expect it to be a bit hard to find parking. Other than that the staff were GREAT . We called ahead and asked for availability of rooms and were given perfect directions for finding the hotel .
