Stayed at the Nautilus during my weekend sight-seeing trip to Seattle in late June. The room was tastefully decorated and spacious, food was excellent, the rest of the house was a delight. We had no trouble with parking and my mom, who has some mobility issues, managed the stairs just fine (she just took her time). Lots of good destinations... more

We had a great stay. All the basics were there: clean room, nicely stocked shower, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Then there were two special things: our dog was welcome and the night was very quiet. We wanted a place that would allow a dog, so we could arrive in the city early and leave later and not have to worry... more

My spouse and I stayed here in late May after significant research online re: Seattle area bed and breakfasts. We've traveled extensively across the U.S. and stayed at a number of B&Bs and high end hotels for business and pleasure alike. All I can say is that we were less than enthused (especially for the price) about our stay. Let... more

Recently I was on a business trip in the vicinity of Seattle. Subsequently, I spent two nights in the "Chambered Nautilus Bed and Breakfast Inn". Usually I prefer to stay in smaller, historic hotels or B&Bs, because there one can really feel the atmosphere of a town and one can easily get in contact to the people. But, this experience... more

This was the third time we stayed at the Chambered Nautilus while in Seattle. We spent a long weekend visiting our son at the University of Washington and enjoying many of the wonderful tourist attractions and restaurants that the city has to offer. One thing we did not miss was breakfast each morning at the Inn. Joyce, the Innkeeper, and... more

My husband and I booked this B&B online after searching for a nice place to stay while we visited our Navy son in Seattle. After looking at hotels in the city, all of which cost twice as much as this B&B, and are basically impersonal to boot, we decided to stay here. The website looked inviting, the location was great,... more

Stayed for two nights during my husband's business trip to UW. Location was perfect. We left the car parked (for free) outside the B&B and were able to walk to campus and surrounding restaurants and shops. The B&B was warm, charming, and welcoming -- without being frilly or froufrou. We ate more than our fair share of the delicious cookies,... more

We live on San Juan Island and anytime we go to Seattle, the Chambered Nautilus is and always will be our first choice. What makes this inn so special is the ambience, comfort, location, cleanliness and warmth of the inn, and the friendly and caring staff. Joyce Schulte and Steve Poole, innkeepers, have created a special place where you feel taken... more

What a welcome relief after the typical hotel rooms to stay at the Chambered Nautilus, bed and breakfast, in Seattle. My dog, Lili, and I had a living room, bedroom, bathroom, dining area, and kitchen all to ourselves. Lili had her own welcome basket and a garden right outside the front door. In addition, we went to a great park... more

The website and reviews of this B&B seemed quite promising but once we were there we were a bit disappointed by the neighborhood as well as the steep stairs that we needed to climb. The neighborhood is not good... its near the university which it states on the website but when you see the neighborhood its rough. The B&B is... more
