I stayed at this hotel when it was still operated under the Doubletree brand. Then, it was called "Hotel @ MIT". The property is an easy walk from the "T" Station and the entire area is pretty much college grounds with lots of young people, and businesses that cater for them. There was a great little Italian place across the... more

Very pretty hotel... clean and nicely designed. Very MIT influenced. Unfortunately the manager and staff is incredibly rude!! My friends and I came for the labor day weekend, and the night we arrived, we all decided to plan out our itinerary for our next couple days. Apparently, the walls in this hotel is paper thin and our neighbors could HEAR... more

This was a lovely hotel. We're not "big city hotel" people but we stayed here for the convenience of the location and it IS very convenient. About a 10 minute walk to Harvard or MIT. A five minute walk to the nearest subway terminal. The rooms were really nicely decorated although I thought they were a bit small. The entire... more

We visited on the 4th. of July weekend. The hotel was very close to the MIT campus and about 2.5 miles from Harvard campus. There was a hug gathering for watching the Boston Pop Fireworks on th 4th. If you are visiting around that time and plan to watch the firworks, make sure you carry a chair with you to... more

Stayed here for a weekend for a wedding. The rooms are great... most comfortable sheets EVER! I wanted to buy one of their comforters, very cozy. However, this used to be the Hotel @ MIT and the staff seems completely confused. Had to ask for things several times to get them. Two computers with internet, free to use in lobby... more

The hotel itself is great....large rooms, attentive staff, etc. The location is my only issue. Boston is a great walking city, and the hotel is located across the Charles River in Cambridge. It's about 3 blocks from a "T" station and you can walk across the bridge on warm days, but that might not be convenient for everyone. Especially if... more

For the price we paid, it was a bargain. Walking distance (2 to 3 blocks) to a T-stop made this hotel location excellent for tourists on a tighter budget. Rooms are large and spacious and clean. Lots of neat little restaurants and bars nearby. more

First let me start by saying, that I used to stay at this Hotel when it was the old MIT Marriot. It was always about a 3 1/2-4 star hotel with great service, but kooky MIT nostalgia all over the walls. Generally, you could stay here for about $90-110 a night and it was well worth it. If you could... more

I organized a small conference here, and it just ended. We were extremely satisfied. The rooms are great, the location fantastic, the staff quite friendly. The decor is modern yet a bit nerdy as befits the MIT location. The Sidney's restaurant is great for a hotel restaurant, and merits a visit in its own right. We will return. more

We had such a great visit! We found the hotel very comfortable and convenient. The staff were helpful and friendly. The T-stop and many good, affordable restaurants are within walking distance. The decor is fun, MIT-inspired. The cab drivers seemed to still know it as the MIT Hotel, so it helped us to mention that it had recently changed names. more
