This is pretty bad news. It is not in Buckhead, first of all. It is near strip clubs and a pretty seedy environment. The place is run down and not impressive at all. Of course, you get what you pay for. The staff was actually very helpful and the free wireless internet is a plus. Unless you are really going... more

I stayed at the Baymont for two nights mid-January. This is a budget-oriented hotel right off the highway in a very central location. I was a bit concerned after reading previous reviews, but for the price range I thought it was quite fine. The room was very clean. The beds were not horrible as some reviews had indicated. The staff... more

My husband and I stayed here one night while visiting friends in Atlanta and going out in Virginia Highlands/Buckhead. My opinion is that you get what you pay for. For $70 a night across the highway from Buckhead - you can't really expect a 5-star hotel. We knew it was just a place to crash after a night out and... more

I just came back from a 4 night stay at the Baymont in Atlanta. It was the worst hotel I've ever been to. Let me list the reasons why: 1. It is not in Buckhead, but across the highway from that affluent community. It does not reflect the prestige of Buckhead at all. 2. The facilities were low-class. It's down... more

Prepaid for this place through Expedia due to its proximity to the Amtrak train station. Hotel is located on what looked like a narrow access road to the freeway with a lot of old warehouses...drove past it twice because I didn't want to get back on the freeway. Daughter was already PO'd because I knew it didn't have a pool... more

This was the worst place I have ever booked, and I travel a lot. It is NOT in Buckhead and from the moment I saw it, I was uneasy/queasy. Hotel check-in was very indifferent. The front desk person would have rather been anywhere but there (ME TOO!). Once we got to the room, the smell hit me.....Copenhagen Tobacco!!!! That was... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here based on the info the hotel gave saying it was in a great location downtown...my fault for not knowing much about Atlanta. The great location downtown cost us $20.00 each way by taxi because we did not want to drink and drive. We didn't have any of the customer service or room cleanliness problems... more

Choosing a hotel in Atlanta is daunting task. Luckily, we stumbled onto this hotel. it's right outside of Atlanta, which we found out was a good thing. We went to Six Flags over Georgia, and the World of Coca Cola. And the hotel was convenient to both. If only they would give service with a smile, and have a better... more

During our 3 day stay here we were first put in a dirty room.. then the next room was clean , NOT!!! The beds were made with DIRTY worn sheets -to the point you could see stains and smell dirty feet on them. We got clean sheets, no I'm Sorry or even help re making them.... When we checked out,... more

My friends and I stayed at the Baymont Inn in Atlanta October 2 - 5, 2003. We used them under recommendations of a golf company that planned our trip. The management was so confused that no-one knew who, what, or where. After the first night we asked for our rooms to be cleaned...two days later it was done. They charged... more
