The Marriot Marquis in Atlanta is a fabulous hotel. The interior atrium is absolutely stunning and the glass elevators are great fun and really show off the hotels interior. The pool is small but still very nice. They even have cabanas to keep you out of the sun. The food was fantastic at their restaurant Sear as well as room... more

We stayed for one night in Atlanta en booked this twinroom at our Belgian travel agent for $160/night. WE ALL LOVED AND ENJOYED THE HOTEL. It is close to downtown, only two bloks from the Hard Rock Cafe and seven bloks from World of Coca-Cola and the Olympic park. On arrival, we were immediately very impressed by the interior architecture... more

We stayed at the hotel for a convention. The pool and spa were under construction, half the hotel was under construction. The workout room had been moved to a sad make-shift area on the 10th floor. The staff was less than helpful and the parking was insane. As a former Marriott employee, I have stayed in many of their hotels,... more

My wife, stepdaughter, and I took a trip to Georgia on our first wedding anniversary, and as a suprise (while both were sleeping) I booked a nice hotel room at the hotel. The staff upon our arrival were excellent and pleasant, including the head of Security, who was notified due to the fact I had brought some "friends" with me,... more

I just returned from a business conference in Atlanta. My conference was at the Hyatt Regency, but no rooms were available there so I booked a room at the Marriott Marquis (just across the street from each other.) This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It is modern and beautiful. The 47 floor atrium is stunning.... more

Marriott understands service more than any other hotel chain. First of all, this hotel is easily accessible by taking the MARTA (subway) from the airport. You will only need to get on one train,. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, inside and out. The lobby areas are spotlessly clean. Staff is stationed throughout the lobby to greet and assist guests.... more

I stayed at this hotel for a convention at my company was hosting. This hotel was the host hotel so most of the functions were held on the property as well. My first impression of the hotel was great. The interior is beautifully decorated. It is large and open, the focal point of the glass elevators was stunning. There was... more

I stayed at the Marquis while I was in Atlanta for a convention. The hotel was booked solid and my experience has shown that how the staff/housekeeping/etc. flow when a property is packed is a good indication of its quality. That being said, although I had extremely late check-in (11 p.m.!) I got the exact room I wanted. The bed... more

I chose this hotel because I was attending a conference and some meetings were scheduled for this location. The service was excellent, the room very large, and best of all the bed was so comfortable I just wish I had had more time to lay in it. This was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a... more

If you need to stay in downtown Atlanta, it's really hard to beat this place. The hotel is beautiful with a stunning and dramatic atrium that goes all the way to the top. The looby and pulic areas are recently updated. I think they may still be working on a couple areas. The room is standard updated Marriott isssue. Great... more
