We booked here to celebrate New Year and had a wonderful 2 days. We were very warmly welcomed with tea and cake by Tony who was the perfect host. Our room was a really good size with tasteful decoration and a lovely ensuite bathroom. Our room provided views over the picturesque village. One night we had a great meal in... more

Such an idyllic find just 1.5 hrs from Birmingham.Booked Eirianfa at the last minute trying to make a trip to the Pistyl Rhaeadr,Wales highest waterfall but even if I had searched for days,I doubt if I could have found a better place. The view from the room was of the picturesque Tanat valley and the only noise heard was the bubbling... more

Having stumbled across details about Eirianfa, I came to 'case the joint' for a getaway from Brum . . .with dog . . .and with little else by which to compare it. What is said in other reviews here is all true. The house is very lovely and the location is superb. There is more though - I think it... more

From the welcome from the hosts on arrival to their parting gift of delicious home made bara brith (honey fruit bread) Eirianfa was as good as it gets for a short break in rural Wales. The house is beautifully restored, rooms are spacious and comfortable and even in hotels it's rare to find as pleasant a sitting room. Great breakfasts... more

I had a trip to this establishment last weekend. The weather on the way there was really gloomy, but thoughts of the weekend being a wash out as soon as I arrived. Coming through the cute village of Llanrhaedr, is like stepping back in time, so peaceful as was the rest of the break. Though classed as a B&B, it... more

Recently spent a long weekend here with a few friends and had a fantasic time. The b&b is a beautifully refurbished house on a hill overlooking the village with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. It's just down the road from the highest waterfall in England and Wales which is definitely worth a visit. The breakfast was a definite highlight... more

Mike and Tony have recently taken over this lovely Victorian Gentlemans house and converted it into a fab B&B. The bedrooms are comfortable with the most wonderful views. Nothing is too much trouble. I felt welcome and very comfortable. The village name is hard to get your tongue around - (unless you speak Welsh!). But dont let that put you... more

I spent a lovely weekend here with my partner. We expected a bog standard B&B but were really pleasantly surprised. It has all be done up recently and the rooms are great - really big and of the standard you would expect more from a hotel than a rural b&b. There's a nice guest lounge you can use too. The... more

Spent a weekend in this charming B&B, tenderly rebushished to a high standand. Very generous porportioned rooms, ours had a view out onto the fields opposite, and into our room trinkled the sound of the bubbling brook coming down from the famous waterfall which are just a couple of miles up the road. Pretty easy to get to from London... more
