Got the room at USD200(before tax) per night from Priceline. Given a garden view room. That room has a loud humming noise. So asked for a change. Very efficient in changing room. Gave me another garden facing room. Too tired to ask for another change. Would have been nice if they have given an upgrade as the rooms are mostly... more

I agree with the other reviews. My wife and I stayed for 4 days in October. The rooms are great, the service is excellent and its much quieter than other resorts. We would drive to the big hotels for dinner and then return to the Diamond Resort for a quiet evening. The pool is a bit dated but nothing terrible.... more

Loved the Diamond Hawaii Resort and Spa! We stayed there (Sept 25-30) for my sister's wedding (which took place at the Four Seasons - about a 5 min drive) in an ocean view suite on the 2nd floor (Rm #163). -------------------------- Pros: -------------------------- - Price ($209/night) - Complimentary valet and parking - Quiet, beautiful location set on top of a... more

Diamond Resort is located in Wailea in the same resort area as Four Seasons, Waldorf Astoria, Fairmont, etc. If you want a hotel directly on the beach, a mega resort, or fawning all over you service, this is not the place for you. On the other hand, if you want a ocean view, a convenient location in Wailea, a LARGE... more

Stayed there as part of a guest for a wedding so we got a good deal ($200/night). I guess since the regular rate is higher, my wife and I expected a little more for our money. Positives: Quiet and secluded. Staff is extremely customer friendly and helpful. Valets are very helpful and friendly as well. Self-parking is relatively easy to... more

We stayed at the Diamond Resort for 10 days. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles and a helpful atmosphere. The reasons we initially chose the hotel were the room layout, location, reviews and price. Room layout: separate bedroom, huge bathroom, kitchenette and complimentary cookware upon request. Also, the layout of the hotel itself makes it a... more

My husband and I stayed only one night at this resort (we were hopping around all over the islands), but we felt it was the best value of our whole trip. We got it on Priceline for about $200 a night. The suite was HUGE! This resort caters to Japanese tourists and it had several funky Japanese touches, like a... more

We were very happy with our stay here. The room was quite large, with a nice bedroom (huge bed), living room, porch, full kitchen, and a nice big bathroom with one of the fancy Japanese toilets. Like other guests have mentioned, we saw very few other guests on the grounds, which were nice and green. The spa is well worth... more

We had an absolutely phenomenal time at Capische in The Diamond Resort, Wailea. We were seated in the working garden with sunset views to Molokini. The garden is lush with herbs and peppers of every description. The meal was superb - we ordered the special of the day consisting of penne pasta with lobster, crab, scallops and shrimp. The wine... more

I booked this hotel for myself and my husband after reading reviews that this property is quiet and tranquil. We were on a combination vacation/business trip, and do not enjoy crowds or big group activities. This hotel, at this time of year, fit the bill. It sits high on a hill and had a great view of Molokini. The units... more
