The hotel was nicely appointed and the service was EXCELLENT. We liked our room as it had a bar area, living room bath and bedroom with a large deck. We stayed in 462, which has a nice partial ocean view and is close to the elevator. Ask for 562 or 662 for an even better ocean view. However, the prices... more

I've been to the kea lani before, in a suite, last november. I thought the service was great then. When I decided to take the family there I rented a villa. It was definitely a splurge. There were nine of us, 4 adults and 5 kids. A villa was a great idea because of the toddlers. When we arrived, I... more

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived we felt like kings and queens. The Staff is unbelievable and the grounds are amazing. We walked into the lobby and the ocean was right there. The pools were not only large but there were three of them and some were only... more

My DH lived in Maui for 9 years and I visited monthly for 4 1/2 years, so I am very familiar with the area. I was greatly disappointed in the Kea Lani. The suite was very large, but dated and needs a complete renovation. The bathroom was also huge, but had no shelves at all. The prices for everything were... more

1st we were there on our honeymoon and went through costco travel agency and found the best rate for us. we had a side room with a view of a mountain, beautiful landscaping and barely a view of ocean. however the room was amazing! just beautiful! great service. food is pricey but that is par for the course in hawaii!... more

Don't stay here if you want to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Hawaii. Pay a little more and go the the 4 Seasons next door. The Fairmont is a big hotel. You might as well be at the Marriott. The beach is so crowded that the lounge chairs are literally touching one another. There are loud groups and cigar... more

Just returned from a Spring Break vacation in Maui, kids aged 11, 9, 7. We stayed at the Kea Lani two years ago (in the villas) and loved it. This time we also stayed in the villas and still enjoyed it very much... POSITIVES: location - we prefer Wailea to the other areas of Maui size - the resort is... more

Reading a critical review of a hotel I usually take it with a grain of salt and think the writer is a littly cranky or just thinks being hyper critical is being descerning . That said, we hated this hotel. We were there for one night during spring break. Our teenage daughter liked that there were other young people there... more

This is a very nice hotel with great service and clean, manicured grounds. We stayed in both the villas and the rooms. The villa was convienient and close to the beach, but I thought the living area in the villa was small. The bedrooms and bathrooms were big, however. The rooms in the hotel were huge and the living area... more

Went for a week's holiday with my wife, 4 kids age 6,5,3 and 1. We had a great time. The hotel is spectacular, the pools are nicely kept and appeared clean and the beach was lovely. The buffet breakfast was spectacular and good value (for kids at least). Under 6 yrs old do not pay and 6 and over pay... more
