Since I was relying largely on public transportation during my four-day visit, The Westin was in a great location just two blocks from Kennedy Plaza. From here, buses and trolleys got me anywhere I needed to go. Hotel staff was friendly, my room was fine (what can go wrong if you have a Heavenly Bed?) and Chad the bartender at... more

Nice hotel, several goog restaurants in easy walking distance. Definitely ask for a room in the renovated tower as these are more updated. There is a walkway to the mall which is convenient. more

We stayed at the Westin during a conference. The facility was OK, though our experience left much to be desired. Here's a quick rundown of the little things the hotel should have been able to do better: 1. The required elevator key worked only 50% of the time. At least once per day we couldn't get to our floor without... more

this is a major conference hotel. location is great if you don't get a room next to I95--those rooms are constantly loud. The hotel is located right next to a nice mall. The challenge for the hotel is the staff. Its young and, well, not that hospitality oriented. They clearly aren't empowered to make decisions and if a problem arises...well,... more

This was my third or fourth stay at the Westin. I love the location. When I mentioned that I was a frequent guest, they were very agreeable to putting me in their renovated tower. Very nice. The staff was all very friendly and helpful -- front desk, room service, and especially our waiter in the restaurant, Agora. Rooms are awesome:... more

We stayed in the new wing on the 11th floor which had nice views... very pleasant. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and the room was spacious and very clean with a flat screen TV and also a nice bathroom. Staff was polite and informative especially Christine W. and the concierge whose name I believe was William.... more

We spent one night in the Westin while visiting PVD for Waterfire. The Westin's location was perfect for this event, 2 blocks away. The room was large by city standards, clean and comfortable too, with the great Heavenly Bed and Shower. We were given a room on the 21st floor which had a decent city view. All staff we encountered... more

I stayed at the Providence Rhode Island for a business/ pleasure trip! It is a fantastic hotel. The location is perfect! It is connected by a covered walkway to a large mall with a Nordstrom, Bed, Bath & Beyond, etc. There are also several large restaurants including The Cheese Cake Factory and the Napa Valley Grill. The hotel is about... more

We checked in on the 13th of May for a short visit with family in Rhode Island. When we proceeded to the front desk to get our room keys the staff member was very unprofessional. The 4 star rating this hotel has is a total joke in my opinion. Anyhow, we get to the floor where our room is on... more

Since the room was a little pricy for Providence RI, we were expecting a nice experience. When we reserved our room, we requested a non-smoking room. Unfortunately, on entering our room, it had an unpleasant and strong cigarette smoke odor. I called the front desk and asked to be moved and was told that instead, they would send someone up... more
