My family stayed there July 17 - 19, 2008 and it was very nice. Hotel staff was very friendly and it has great access to the river walk through the basement. Only complaint was the elevator system is slow. Other than that it is a very nice hotel. more

The Drury Inn Plaza and its nearby sister hotel, the Drury Inn Riverwalk are amazing deals in San Antonio. I've stayed in both hotels, both are on the Riverwalk. Drury Plaza is in the renovated Alamo National Bank Building. The lobby has been restored to its original splendor. The rooms are great - comfy, clean, with a huge bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. Stayed at the Drury Plaza for convention...good choice. There are other hotels closer and all are around the same price, but this is a good choice. I walked to the convention center each day...less than three blocks. The staff was friendly and helpful.
