Dont spend extra to stay on the river walk-stay here. We stayed for a few days during spring break. The hotel staff was great eventhough we had to wait 2 hours to check-in. No problem we walked two blocks to the Alamodome to see "HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL ON ICE". The River Center Mall is only a 5 min walk away.... more

Everything about Staybridge Sunset Station is A+. I got a one bedroom suit and it had 2 plasma TVs, full kitchen with utensils. Staff is great. Apart from morning breakfast they have free snacks and beer/wine on weekdays evenings (tue-thu). Plus it's at a walking distance from convention center and river walk. I'll stay here again for sure. more

This is a great hotel, excellent accomodations, great service, located within walking distance of The Alamo, Riverwalk and other historic places. Yes, it is close to a train station, but the sounds were very muffled and the hotel had earplugs on the nightstands by the beds (didnt need them, though!) StayBridge Suites Sunset Station is in the historical station area. The 12 floor hotel is new. The suites are small but very clean and nicely decorated. They are a step up from Hampton Suites but not as nice as Homewood Suites. The only thing that bothered me was that it is pet friendly. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and courteous.... more
