We just returned from a week at the Inn of the Alameda. Its location is absolutely perfect, around the corner from Canyon Road and a few blocks from the plaza. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. By chance we met friends who have been coming to Santa Fe for 20 years and that is where they stayed. We felt that... more

I've stayed at the Inn on the Alameda on two separate occasions; once last august and then again this past march. Both times, I left more than satisfied. The rooms, while nothing extraordinary, where always very clean and nicely decorated; keeping in touch with that new mexican vibe. However, the thing I appreciated most was the service. From the moment... more

We've stayed here three times so we obviously like it. It's a beautiful property and a great location. But I wish they'd have decent coffee instead of translucent brown water, and I wish they'd have a protein at breakfast other than those frittatas (or however they're spelled). One morning out of three they had hard-boiled eggs. Please guys - don't... more

We were impressed that this small hotel was Number 1, and it deserves its rating. This was my first time in Santa Fe, and I was genuinely pleased with the front desk concierge service, and the hotel's cleanliness and comfortable atmosphere. We chose to get an upgraded room with a fireplace and small patio. It had a tree view and... more

We just got back on the 13th of July from Santa Fe and this was our first time at the Inn on the Alameda. We were not disappointed. Our room was very comfortable and also very clean. We were in a deluxe king room and had a gas fireplace which we enjoyed quite a bit. It was so easy to... more

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights on our first trip to Santa Fe. We thought the Inn was terrific in every way and a very good value. Our room was lovely with a comfortable bed and large, private balcony. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom met our needs. The breakfast buffet and wine/cheese hour were both... more

The Inn at Alameda was in a perfect location, within walking distance of most city sites, hotel shuttle was available to deliver or pick you up upon request for further distance. Great breakfast, sangria - very friendly, helpful staff. Very quiet, low-key atmosphere. more

Very nice accomodations. Rooms were beautiful and extremely comfortable. The grounds are well landscaped and attractive although the view from the rooms our parties occupied were not noteworthy (we had the parking lot). A little further walk from the Plaza than I anticipated but still wasn't that bad. Just around the corner and an easy walk to Canyon Drive to... more

This property is locally owned and not part of a chain. The entire operation: employees, location, rooms are first class, but low-key and non-pretentious. The included breakfasts made it difficult to want to eat anywhere else early mornings. They serve the best complimentary sangrias in town every afternoon. It is walking distance to the Plaza, but far enough away to... more

This is a great place - but what impressed me the most was the staff at the Inn. They treated us so well. The Inn is situated on a busy intersection but you would never know it, once you are on the property. They have done a great job of landscaping. more
