I booked the Inn at Loretto because from all accounts it was supposed to be a lovely little inn, convenient to downtown Santa Fe. That is the most I can about this property. It is convenient to downtown and the property itself puts a nice face on. But that's where the nice experience ended. Upon checkin the staff was alternately... more

Watch out. Buyer beware. While the location is great, the devil is in the details. We paid extra for a "Vista" room that I understood would have some sort of view and a balcony. My wife called in advance and asked the hotel about the views and was excited about what she was told. Our room was of modest size,... more

Definitely too short a visit for such a cozy friendly Inn. Our first time in Santa Fe was a treat, we are sure to come back. I had a divinely healing massage at the spa after a day of shopping. The dinner under a luxurious outdoor canopy lighted by chandeliers and candle light was memorable. Our server entertained us with... more

We recently stayed there for a long weekend and overall have good things to say. The room and bed (especially) were very comfortable. We had a very large balcony overlooking the city. There is a sitting area and fireplace (non-working) in the room. The staff was friendly and we had a great breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The location of... more

After my wife and I stayed there recently, the hotel sent us a survey, asking our “advice” in several areas. Our advice? Train and motivate your staff! Everybody working there looked ready to blow their brains out. Nobody said, "Hi! Welcome to the Inn and Spa at Loretto! Great to have you here!" Felt like we were checking into a... more

I think a shower should work like this: turn the water on, wait for really hot water; dial the hot water back to the temperature you like; flip on the shower. For Labor Day Weekend, in my $376/night Vista Grande room, my first shower (taken mid-afternoon on a Friday) worked like this: turn the water on, wait for hot water;... more

My sister and I booked a 3-night Luxury Link package and enjoyed our stay here very much. I had stayed several years ago and the hotel rooms have been redecorated since then. The hotel wasn't perfect then either, nor is it perfect now. The best thing about it is the location, a short walk to Canyon Road and also to... more

This was a family (adult) trip celebrating my in-laws 50th anniversary, their were 8 of us including myself. This was our second choice of a hotel, the first one having been changed because of negative reviews on Tripadvisor.com! First, let me say, this is price withstanding. It was a gift from our very generous family. That said, let me say... more

We stayed here during our wedding weekend, as did about 50 percent of our 175 guests. Everybody loved it. It was the ideal central location that initially drew us in, and the lobby bar served as a home base for all of our excursions. I must say several friends upgraded to balcony rooms (so much nicer!) after seeing the dark,... more

Booked a 2 and 3 night Luxury Link auction packages. Given Room 349. Beware. Room is looks at parking garage and is over loading dock. Trucks start beeping and backing in at 7 AM. No luxury at the Inn. Hotel management unreasonable to work with. Room description did not match actual room. Excuse given that they were sold out and... more
