On a busy holiday weekend we ended up at this place, which is right on the main road. While it may have been convenient, it was the nastiest place we've ever stayed. I booked this hotel on-line and paid $152.50. But when I arrived there on 05/25/07, they asked me to pay more. Should I? The ants and insect were all over the floor, especially the bathroom. I was shocked at the looks of the place for the price! The staff was friendly enough but we had to ask for another towel and ant spray because ants were all over the floor in the bathroom. Do not, and I repeat do not stay here. With hindsight I wish I'd stayed outside on the pavement (it would have been cleaner). The staff were initially friendly (when booking in) but once our money had been secured that all changed. We stayed here in in 04. Our room was never cleaned - beds not made, towels not changed, linen smelled of a past guest's perfume. We stayed here back in October on our way through. It is centrally located however that is the only thing in it's favor. The desk personnel were friendly enough but the room was positively horrid. There were holes punched in the walls and what appeared to be blood on the ceiling. The toliet had a leak & a 5 gallon... more
