We planned a trip with our 2 kids (4yrs & 7 yrs) to Polar Express in Williams, AZ and decided to stay at Little America based on the Trip Advisor rating and based on their Christmas lights display. The hotel was decorated with Christmas lights throughout the property which was really beautiful - my kids loved the lights. The problems... more

We booked a room at this hotel based on the tripadvisor reviews. We were traveling over the holidays with our three children and we wanted to stay someplace that would be fun for them, and someplace nice. One night's stay cost us $158.00. First, the front desk person was boring, and his face lacked any expression whatsoever. I asked him... more

We used Flagstaff as a "hub" on a family vacation - so we could go to the Grand Canyon, Montezuma's Castle, as well as several other Sinaqua Indian sites. Flagstaff ended up being a great choice, much less expensive than Williams and/or Sedona, for sure. We went to Williams, as well as Sedona - for the day - and returned... more

I agree with all the glowing comments, the room was large and comfortable, nicely furnished, clean, etc. Our problem was the train whistle all night. Maybe because our room was facing the parking lot? I even had ear plugs and the train whistle kept waking me up, same for husband. My internet connection was not the best. I couldn't get... more

We stayed at the Little America Hotel for just one nite. We drove up from Phoenix for a wedding. The wedding was held at the hotel itself. The hotel itself is very easy to find. It is right off of the highway. It is a little scary when you have to pull into a gas station to get into the... more

This is a big complex made up of a number of interlinked buildings set in 500 acres. One building is separate and not attached so you have to brave the fresh air for a few yards to get to the lobby and the restaurants. It is quite a long walk from some rooms to the main building. Our room was... more

We pulled in from the east side of the hotel and could only see the sign and the gas station, which was a bit worrisome. Our fears were washed away the minute we pulled under the awning. This place is well cared for and a real gem. Our room was large, quiet, and very clean. The grounds are well kept... more

Great place to stay, on outskirts of Flagstaff. Initially turning in you wonder as it is through a Gas station forecourt!! But once there it is quiet, occasional hooting of trains, but no traffic noise. Food very nice in restaurant and a great gift shop. Staff mostly all great and pool is fantastic. Not so good is lazy pool boy... more

I have stayed at Little America many, many times over my lifetime. I went there as a child and now was able to bring my own family. The rooms were updated a couple of years ago. There is no longer the red, green, gold, blue room option. The rooms are more neutral now, but updated. The bedding, carpet, and wallpaper... more
