We were going to see a concert in Buffalo, and we found out about the Hampton Inn online. We had 3 adults and 2 teenage girls going. It was near the HSBC arena and not a long way from the galleria mall. The pool was really nice and there was almost nobody there so we had the pool to ourselves.... more

As a faithful hilton honors points member, I have seen quite a few Hampton Inns. This was one of the better Hampton Inns I have stayed in, and would definitely recommend it to others. The beds were not as comfortable as most Hampton Inns, but they were just fine. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, and the location... more

We just returned from Buffalo and the Hampton Inn! We booked this hotel because of it's proximity to Shea's Performing Arts Center as we had tickets for Hairspray (which was terrific). It was a quick short 2-3 block walk and on the way back we were able to hit some clubs on Chippewa, which was just around the block! Large... more

Our family of 4 stayed here for a Montreal Buffalo hockey game. Quick check in, free parking. We were running late, but there is free transit to the arena after walking 3 short blocks. Sometimes I get a little worried walking downtown at night, but there was lots of people along Chippewa, so I didn't feel bad at all. We... more

We travelled to Buffalo to see the Toronto Maple Leafs play the Buffalo Sabres and tried to find a hotel relatively close to the arena. Though this hotel was not the closest it definitely was worth the extra distance. The room was massive and the jacuzzi was HUGE! It was very quiet and we were not disturbed once due to... more

My experience with Hampton Inn Hotels has not been the best. Usually they’re located off a major highway exit. 2 stories. Lobby smells like chlorine. Staff are college students trying to pay for tuition. The Buffalo Hampton is a full fledged hotel set in a rather pleasant restaurant/shopping district downtown. The lobby is very comfortable and quite. Amble space to... more

This hotel is very easy to get to-right off a main road in Buffalo- no fees to park and what is best lies inside. Upon arrival- there is a nice fire burning, a very attractive lobby and friendly attendants at the desk. Also, in the main area of this hotel there are 4 restaurants connected to the hotel... This is... more

Stayed here on a Friday night as we were attending a Montreal-Buffalo hockey game that night. The fact that the hotel was within walking distance of the arena and that the hotel was close to some nightlife were the two main factors in our decision, plus I am very loyal to the Hampton Inn brand. This was my first trip... more

My sister and I stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown Buffalo on 11/10/07. We were in town for a show at the HSBC arena. Buffalo is not a big city and getting around was very easy. We drove to the Pearl Street Grille and walked to the arena from there. I had to make my own parking spot back at... more

Nice hotel in a terrible neighborhood. Nothing much doing downtown except drinking so the suburbs seem to be a better bet for dining, movies and shopping Two cars were broken into in the hotel lot while I was there. Think seriously about staying out by the airport more
