My husband, his sister, her son, and I all stayed at the Beau Fleuve for three nights during a family reunion in Buffalo. We all found the house absolutely beautiful, and the rooms cozy and lovely. Each room is named after a different country, and the decorations are all on that same theme. The Irish room is a lovely green... more

My husband and I stayed at Beau Fleuve on the way to our wedding in Vermont. It was a step into the past, with ornate stained glass windows and many fine antiques. RIk and Ramona made our stay simply perfect, extending their warm hospitality. Our pre-ceremony nerves were soothed with a candlelit breakfast that was so lovely! We will come... more

Over Labor Day Weekend 2007 we stayed two nights at the beautiful Beau Fleuve Bed and Breakfast on Buffalo's Linwood Avenue (a very pleasant residential neighborhood), and it was excellent. The property is an architectural gem complete with stained glass windows and gorgeous rooms which represent the nationalities which settled Buffalo back in the 19th century. We stayed in the... more

I loved it! The hosts were warm and welcoming, the rooms warm, cozy and comfy, and the breakfast was absolutely superb! Thoughtfulness abounded - they even left out drinks (outside our room) in a refrigerator, and snacks in case we should get hungry or thirsty during the night. I loved their friendly cat who came in to welcome us when we... more

I was in Buffalo visiting my girlfriends family and only stayed at a B&B because every hotel room in town was booked. My girlfriend and I are each right around 30 years old and felt during the entire trip like we were staying at our grandparents. We would return to the place around 11PM and could see by the lights... more

Run by completely dedicated elderly couple. Excellent hospitality. Best coffee yet in a B&B or hotel. The large 19th century house is of architectural interest, too. There are photographs on their webpage. more

Pros: It's a nice house with beautiful stained glass windows. It is sparkling clean. The beds are very comfortable. It is in a safe area. The free wifi works fine. Cons: The house is chilly at night; the hosts are not very warm either. Personal gripes: I booked over a month in advance and specifically requested an en suite. Arrived... more

My girlfriend and I recently spent a delightful night at the Beau Fleuve B&B. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend, especially during the summer months as they are located within walking distance from Elmwood Ave. more

The property is one of those stately, beautifully maintained old houses, solidly built and elegantly designed, that you don't seem to find in cities like Los Angeles or Houston. The hardwood floors, the stained glass accent windows and the beautiful staircase are well worth seeing. (The enormous Christmas tree, which must have stood at least 15 feet, was an impressive... more
