Had two fantastic weeks at Almond Beach Village, service was great, food was great and the hospitality was great, nothing was a problem. Our children just didn't want to leave the beach at the end of the day. The Courtyard cafe was great for food during the day which kept the children topped up with chips, pizzas, salad and other... more

The wife and I booked a 10day all inclusive holiday only 2 weeks prior to going. Chose Barbados as never been there before. Bad start with a 2hours late start from Gatwick after the inward plane was late coming in over night from Orlando after hurricanes in Miami. On arrival at Barbados Airport got told Almond Club & Spa Resort... more

The best thing about this resort was that there was plenty to keep us occupied...tennis, squash, table-tennis, golf, gym, sailing etc. Actually, I didn't open my book once. The rooms were fairly nice and spacious. However, our party had a blocked toilet in one room, double bed for two single men in another and the third was missing curtains and... more

We booked our holiday in Barbados and were very much looking forward to it. Ok it was raining on arrival which dampened our spirits a little but nothing compared to feeling of despair on arriving at the Almond Beach Village. We waited 30 mins to be shown to our room without even being offered a drink. On arriving in the... more

Wow !! Our first experience of the carribean and we were not dissapointed. Almond beach village is the place to go for families. My husband and 2 sons (aged 6 and 9) spent 10 days here and we had a magical time. Our room was clean and the service provided by the daily maids was second to none. Restraunts were... more

Most of the reviews that I read on this website are critical reviews, I suppose thats the nature of the beast. People are quick to criticise and slow to praise. I found the Almond beach village a superb holiday venue. The food was absolutely superb, the staff were friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. the facilities on offer in the all... more

This was our first visit to Barbados and has probably put us off returning for a few years at least. Friends of ours had been at last three times previously but the last time was in 2004. Accommodation - very spacious rooms but very tired. When we approached our well positioned rooms (right by the North pools) I was aghast... more

When planning our holiday we researched Trip Advisor until we boggled with contrasting reviews on Almond Beach Village. Taking the positive view off we went. Our entire holiday was without doubt a great success. Bridgetown airport was a breeze, If you require a taxi, services very good. The hotel rooms were very clean, although could probably do with a little... more

After looking forward to our 1st visit to Barbados and choosing Almond Beach Village for our well earned break, the sun, sea & sand, relaxation, abit of fun and laughter we were quite taken aback with what ABV actually had to offer!!!! We arrived at the hotel late afternoon greeted by a porter who rushed us through to the lobby... more
