Quite nice really, just a round the corner form the bended elbow and with a higher rating! Firstly, there is a certain je ne sais quiore about railway stations. The food is what you'd expect; only order the chips 'n' gravy if you're going to share - they taste fantastic, but must be totally rotten for you. Some arcarda games... more

The Ballarat RRR was closed for some years but re-opened about 14 years ago. It is in the wonderful 1862 Ballarat railway station, on platform one from which most trains to Melbourne Southern Cross or Ararat depart. The RRR has dark wood panelling which is pleasing to the eye, but it is the great paintwork that is most eye-catching. The... more
