Prices are so-so, but the seafood is consistently fresh. As with all ikan bakar stalls, the dipping sauce is what counts. more

First off, Teluk Tempoyak is no where even close to Georgetown! If you're considering the entire Timur Laut district as Georgetown is also wrong. Teluk Tempoyak is located between Batu Maung and Permatang Damar Laut - somewhere in the southern part of the island. Away from the bustling traffic of Georgetown.
