We enjoyed this restaurant on two separate occasions while visiting Sedona. Soups and salads are especially inventive and delicious. Good wine selection. A dinner for two, including dessert and wine by the glass costs around $120. Lunch for two, including dessert costs around $45. more

I was disappointed to read a couple of the recent reviews you printed by parties that, while maybe well intentioned, really misrepresented this exceptionally fine restaurant. One reviewer was upset because she couldn’t bypass the hostess and find her own table. The other brought in a large group requiring a banquet style set up, which the restaurant accommodated, and then... more

Rude, mean, odd owner who serves as hostess ruined our evening. She made it's clear that it's her restaurant and noone gets in without first checking with her. My wife was already seated in the courtyard but the owner rudely stopped me and told me I could not enter until I checked with her. She then proceeded to explain to... more

A friend had made a reservation for 17 of us for 2:15 pm with the understanding that we would receive separate checks. After we were seated - 4 tables of 4 - the owner came over and said she wanted to talk with my frend. She got up and they talked for a minute or so and when she came... more

Six of us went to dinner there April 12, 2008. We had a great experience. I was coming from California so called ahead and talked with head waiter, Jeff, who was incredibly helpful. I needed some local information and he got out the phone book and asked his crew and gave me the information. I pre-ordered wines for the evening... more

Nice room, very warm and inviting, very nice host. The service was pretty marginal though, as the waiter didn't know a lot about the menu and ingredients, was not real great with his timing, and forgot a couple of things. The mushroom bisque was far too salty, and had too much truffle oil. The mushroom salad was pretty good, and... more

We had lunch at Rene on the patio. The setting is delightful. Tlaquepaque is such a lovely place to shop, stroll about in or just sit and listen to Oak Creek. Unfortunately, the road construction going on makes it a tad difficult to get in and out of. The restaurant and service was excellent and the food was delicious. We... more

A beautiful setting for both lunch and dinner, excellent service and very affordable. We have had two excellent meals there, and though it is located in what might seem a touristy spot, they take their dining seriously. This is just the place for an upscale dinner that doesn't break the bank or a casual lunch on their patio. Good wine... more

In our opinion, Rene is one of the top three in Sedona (Savannah and Cucina Rustica are the others). The food was excellent, the service was ever-present but unobtrusive. The soft lighting, beautiful decor and the piano music created a very special ambiance, which was only eclipsed by the wonderful dinner we had. I highly recommend Rene. The only problem... more

We were told that this was one of the best places in Sedona and we were not disappointed. I had organic rack of lamb that was simply the best lamb I have ever eaten! The entire meal was beautifully served. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a great time! more
