This used to be my favorite restaurant in Berkeley. I was in town last weekend and ate at the sushi bar to great disappointment. The sushi was mediocre at best. My wife and I have probably eaten at Kirala a dozen or so times. The quality of the sushi is as good as or better than any other sushi house in the Berkeley area. It's a very nice place with great food!! Esp pleasant experience when eating at Sushi bar......very gd food at reasonable price!! Their Hana with Lychee flavor is gd,,,and also the Tempura Ice cream,,,,their Uni,,hotate,,salmon,,,is always good,,,,also they serve Robata as well,,,,so need to try!! more
