Some of the best Italian restaurants I've dined at are in small towns in northern Italy, North Beach San Francisco, and Carmel. Marcellos food rates with the best. Great for first dates. My boyfriend and I went there with my 16 month old daughter. It was wonderful service. Everything was homemade, not that processed frozen food most restaurants use now.
