We visit the Carleton of Oak Park about once per year and always make a point of dining at Philander's. Our most recent visit was especially good! We shared a shrimp cocktail (the biggest shrimp I've ever seen, with cocktail and horseradish sauce - excellent!). I had the pear and apple salad with crumbled bleu cheese and walnuts - yummy!... more
