We were in town for one night and stumbled on this place on Sunday morning. They were serving a brunch which looked really good but we ordered off the menu. This is a new restaurant in Peoria. Nice location on the river and a great layout inside and outside. The atmosphere was very trendy. I had their India Pale Ale specialty brew on tap. Very good - nice and hoppy in flavor. The food was excellent, and the desert was outstanding. We had the chocolate cake with real whip cream... more

We went to Granite City Brewery on a Saturday evening for dinner. There was a 45 minute wait so we enjoyed some of their beer in the bar and we thought the beer to be very good. The building is new, trendy, very clean and pleasing to the eye. They use a mix of woodwork and stone in the bar.... more

The menu looks great, so does the beer. This is a new place opened in East Peoria, nice decor and atmosphere. However, when we went for lunch, the wait at the table after ordering was over 1 hour - I had to leave before the food came. I probably wont go there for lunch again. more
