I have been here a few times as a midcoast resident. Service is generally efficient, though a bit insincere. I had beef ribs tonight. Normally I have the pork, which, with the barbecue sauce is good. I was born and raised in Bath, but Beale Street wasn't around until after I left. When it opened, my brothers and sisters raved about it. Although Beale Street had jambalaya and blackened catch-of-the-day on the menu, the real draw was beef, pork, or chicken, smoked on the premises. Deee-lish! We ducked into Beale Street to get out of the rain and because it was the only place open. The place was bright and clean and the service great. The food was also excellent.
