I LOVE this place. very strong flavors and great atmosphere, very nice bartenders! I only wish they would change the menu every once in a blue moon or add a new item...prices are fair. more

Want a nice glass of wine in a nice Louisiana ambient? Try Howe's Bayou in Ferndale, MI on Woodward Avenue. Great selection of Cajun cuisine, seafood, steaks. Reasonably priced. Nice selection of wine. more

I'm not necessarily a Cajun-cuisine expert, but I thought this place pretty good and authentic. The food was spicy - but that's the way most folks like it :) more

We have been to Howie's Bayou numerous times, mostly for drinks but several times for dinner also. I am vegetarian and have to order a combination sides, all of which are quite good (hot greens salad, mac and cheese, cornbread). It would be nice if they added a vegetarian entree. The bread pudding is also great. My husband speaks highly... more
