After many trips to LBI and after reading the reviews we decided to give The Chicken OR The Egg a try. We ate here this past week. I love their menu, lots of choices, but the food wasn't anything special. It's an affordable family place, and open 24hrs which is great. We have been coming to Long Beach Island for many years now. We have always made Chicken or the Egg one of our places to eat, especially the early bird special. Yea, i just dominated the ludicrous wings. Waiter said not to eat them. I said just gimme the damn wings. He said ok. And now theyre a distant memory in my large intestine. MMMMMMMMMM CHICKEN OR THE EGG more

Chicken or the Egg is a great place to eat in Beach Haven. We visit Beach Haven every year and the Chicken and the Egg is our favorite place for dinner. It is a great value for the money and very good food. If you are seated before 6 there is a discount. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. more

We ordered take out 3 times over our 7 night vacation. We were not willing to wait and there is ALWAYS a line. It wouldn't be a vacation on LBI without a chicken cheese steak. Nice chuncks of chicken and cheese in the wing sauce of your choise with blue cheese dressing on the side. Always says vacation to us.... more
