On the basis of its reputation, I chose to eat dinner at Merenda while visiting Bend. The appetizer, a warm goat cheese tart was delicious. The restaurant tries to be trendy with pretty little plates and sweet waitpeople. It was too noisy to really sit back and relax at lunch. The plates looked nice but the salmon salad had less than 1/4 cup of salmon. Because of the prices charged the value was disappointing. more
